Keeping Version # Upgraded in Admin
 

Why is it so difficult to keep the version # updated in the Admin? You guys are developers and should be able to automate this.

All too often I come here and it is a different version...

Your version number is stated in the statistics and the news script should state our current released version. Although the news script at times I know can take a weeks to update sometimes if one misses that step. It is never behind by much though. In fact I just updated it and it said 8.01. So the news script was 6 days behind the release of 8.02 in the download area.
