| How do I edit the Registration text file
I can't remember how I did it a long time ago.
I want to change some of the text in it to let people know
they have to use their ham radio callsign as their username.
What file and how do I change it.
Thanks
Jack Campbell

The language file is located in the languages subdirectory of the downloaded code and the language strings are in there.

There is no user registration approval on a standalone. If your integrated with a forum then the registration settings are in your forum.

There definately has never been registration approval in the standalone. There is an email verification users do at registration but thats it.

Ok thanks. I guess that is all I had on. I have that back on.
Thankyou for your help.
I use your software on my hamradioclassifieds.com page
also have the gallery software linked to that site.
I have had them for some years now.

How does the PhotoPost Classifieds Admin Ad Approval Interface work.
Isn't there a way I can I can turn this on.
It has at the top
THUMBNAIL INFO / CATEGORY DELETE APPROVE HOLD
When someone uploads a ad I get a email of the ad and says
If approval is required, visit the admin panel:
Where can I turn this on.

If you turn on moderation in the edit usergroups section of the admin panel for any group you want moderation on for then photos and comments would need approval.

What does Mod Access do. Should I set that to Yes or no.
I set Moderate Ads to Yes for registered and unregistered.

I was able to edit the Registration text...
the file in is the /languages folder (english.php for me, assume its if yours is in a different language you would choose the one you need!)
then open the file in an editor and the info you need is around line 957
Hope this is helpful if anyone else is looking for specifics! |

I found out how to do it. I had forgot.
I just wish they had a way to delete more then just one account at a time since
I made a mistake to let some people reg. without approval. Now I have hundreds to
delete one at a time. What a pain.
