Classified Setup Install Before vB Intergration?

I have a web site running vB4 and another integrated classified script. I just bought PhotoPost Classifieds (PPC) and intend to transition to it.

I would like to first install PPC in stand alone mode (without vB integration) to learn the system without disturbing the existing classifieds. After I get PPC like I want it, I then want to remove my old classified software and integrate PPC with vB.

In order to do the integration, will I have re-install PPC and do all my configuration again, or is there a way to do it without losing all my PPC configuration changes?

You need to install it to integrate with vb4 but you do not need to tell anyone about it.

That way you can get it like you want and then simply delete the old thing.
