Is there anyway to set the question to default to yes?
- Want to be notified by email when users post replies?

One owned license grants you the right to run one software installation on one domain for an unlimited time, and purchasing an owned license gives you access to our members download area and support for one year.

This is why you can not access product support because your access to receive support has expired.

There is no option to set that to yes. You would need to actually alter your upload templates and change the default selection.
