Well features in the application customers have suggested and more use of ajax features is a common suggestion. Customers want ajax content without having to reload a page etc. I do beleive such new features might need things to be done differently which is why things are different.

vbulletin 4 plugins and instructions are all included in Pro 8 downloaded code.

I can not speak about the past because I did not really develop Pro years ago. I will look into it but right now I am at the tail end of 3 open beta cycles.

Unfortunately I'm looking for a solution now. I'm afraid I may be leaving Photopost after many, many years.

sorry to hear that as this is not something your going to see anytime soon. I do not know any gallery that has it except for stand alone sites like facebook that can write anything they want to run on there own servers.

I did a quite search and only see one remote possibility for something that might work although the work is very imcomplete. We have been busy adding other features and keeping up with integration like the new vb5.

I can make no promises as this is very early alpha even just been doing some testing.

There are lots of issues to work through like if you have medium image and you click to view the large it interferes with the tagging.

Tagging is meant for very simplistic coded sites like facebook or when just showing an image without any fancy stuff.

I would need to work out the logistics of how to present things plus

I am really just playing with coding and have no idea at this point how I am going to proceed as it is going to take time to work through everything.

Well I worked out the logistics as far as large images and have things pretty well setup.

Still need to work out global switch for it as well as the placement of the tag box all that stuff but the mechanics seem to be working good.

Photo Tagging is going to be added to 8.3 which is out any day as well as full complete enhanced integration with xenforo forum product.

Also added to 8.3 is Full Enhanced Integration with xenforo forums so users can switch from vbulletin to xenforo if they desire and still have the same level of integration they are accustom to in vBulletin.

uh oh, do you mean you deleted the photopost/comshow.php option? our members use that feature all the time and love it
