| Installed vBGallery but
None of the vBAlbum pictures moved over....
Did I misunderstand that part of it?
I am a noob to all of this.
Is there a way to get them over there and get rid of vBAlbums?
Thanks
John

| vBulletin Albums Importer -> vBGallery
There is a separate beta script for 2.5 series of vbgallery that works to import vbulletin album content.

vbgallery 3.0 is a beta product which you can post in that beta forum about but there is no albums importer for vb 4 yet.

well if you have a backup copy of vbulletin 3 before you upgraded tp 4 you could setup a vbgallery 2.5 and vb3 old setup and import albums and then move forward to vb4.

Chuck,
I am going to try the pro version. From what I have read it can integrate with vBull.
Am I reading that correctly?
The logins will work from the forum?
Thanks for your help.
John

Chuck,
Finally got Pro installed...
When I go to the adm-index it doesn't recognize me as logged in to vbull.
Did I do something wrong...

Would it be cleaner if I installed it in its own stand alone domain???

What is your gallery url?
I would suspect the application has not been installed correctly.

I have not had time to play with it much due to a friend battling cancer...
I would like to make it easier for people to use. The Embed is not working.
Having problems with uploading vids.
Also, is there someway to do a bulk images link instead of having to open each image and then copy and pasting it?
Sorry for all the questions but I will now have time to focus on this.
Thanks
John

It does not recognise your vb login because you did not integrate with your vb forum. You have installed a completely standalone copy.

Hi,
have you made any progress on the VB4 albums to VBG3 importer? If not available is there an ETA, or a part-done version that I can finish off? Otherwise I'll have to make one as this is a near must-have for me.
Thanks.

There is no active work on old scripts that themselves where beta for vb3. There is no ETA. If it is something the original author decides to release and work on he will.
Right now our company is actively looking at starting a PP 8 beta with the anticipated UI redesign we have been promising customers.

Sorry I misunderstood the differences in VBG/PP. Just trying not to start a whole new thread. I'll crack on with it and post it once it's done.
