ok I am a photopost noob so be kind
Here is my very first question of I am sure many to go, How do I get rid of the large photos A community photo gallery - My Photo Gallery

what is your thumbnail size set to? should be set to say 100

Try setting in global options your image processor to GD2 and then under scan database elect to rebuild all thumbnails.
