Directory Backups

Under Global Options in PP6.2, there is an option to specify the path to the directory for storing backups. Is this just a case of creating a backup folder in my server space directory, then entering the path to that directory in the global options settings, or is it something more complicated than that.

Also, when its working, what is actually backed up? Is it all files and images connected with PP, or just some of the program files, such as images?

That backup thing is just sql tables and yes it is done as you state.

However nowadays I personally think its easier to do whole database backups through phpmyadmin faster or setup a cron task using a server mysql backup tool as far as files and images you would need to do that via ftp.
