allow image ratings, but not comments
 

How can I allow image ratings, but not image comments for guests?

I have comments turned off in user groups, but I want everyone to be able to rate the images still

To rate images users must have permissions to comment.

geez - back to square one. You guys got it to work without having to enter a comment, not we are back at the same issue. ratings and comments, not one or the other..

Not sure what you mean there. You have to be able to comment to rate a picture here that I am seeing.

You need to allow usergroups to comment to do anything. Then you can filter per category what usergroups can post or vote.
