can I upload multiple photos at once

Can I upload multiple photos at once? it seems to say it will let me do that, but when I tried it did not work. also, a feature on the upload page was to use a url and upload from that page all of its photos. that would be helpful for me but it also did not work when I tried it. I was trying to get photos from Group Imaging .

thanks for your help

Thats not bulk upload thats download from a url

That is not working for you because of that page and its old old substandard html. XHTML has been in effect for over 8 years now. We dont use nor recognize large html tags which is the issue here

We look for <img src= and that page has <IMG src=

Anyway that is why you had a problem with that page.

To bulkupload you would upload images to your uploads directory on the server. To upload more than one image at a time in the upload prompt you can set the number of upload prompts in admin upload options.

Chuck,
is this the line in admin that will allow multiple uploads : Admin...Edit Settings...Upload Photo Options.... How many file upload prompts do you want?

We are really looking to be able to have a user upload about 10 images at a time.

also, the url's that i was wanting to pull photos from are pages that were made using Photoshop 7.0 Automate Web Gallery feature.

yes how many upload prompts is what you want for users.

I understand what your saying about the web automated thing I am just stating why your not finding images in that page.

you could try altering your photopost script uploadphoto.php this line

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
with possibly this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

As far as video's when you upload one you are given on the second page of upload a choice to upload a thumbmail for that video and thats where you upload one.
