phpbb3 compatible ?

I'm wondering if the latest photopost is compatible with the phpbb3. The phpbb.com site said that they will retire the phpbb2 for good.

I currently have phpbb2 integrated with photopost and plan to upgrade to phpbb3 soon but need to know if photopost is compatible with phpbb3.

If it is not compatible, do the photopost team plan to work on this issue ?
