Iptc

does anybody know if the latest version of photosoft support IPTC on jpeg's?
i.e i want the gallery to display the keywords embedded on the jpeg uploaded.

further more, where are the keywords registred in the gallery? in the DB or on the file?

hi,

i saw this post:

saying that Jhead cand display the EXIF and IPTC. is this true for all version?

my gallery display EXIF - but not IPTC. how can i extract it? from which verison of PP?

jhead extracts the exif info entered in the header of a file and stores it in the databaase for each photo so when you view the photo the exif info is displayd.

There is no iptc

keywords are stored in the database and are what you enter in keyword spot in upload.

what do you mean? Keywords? they are entered on upload and stored in the keywords field in your photos table.

exactly the info i needed - thanks!
i ordered the latest version of photopost, i want to see the IPTC support there and see how improve my site indexing. have u considered adding a site map feature to admin index of the gallery?

We dont support iptc that I am aware of its not listed in our features

You can place suggestions in the suggestions forum for Michael to look at.
