Classified Upgrade to 3.0 Problem #3

Chuck - Your helped me with this three days ago and the admin used id and password I pm'd you are still valid.

The upgraded Classifieds located at http://www.remarkablecars.com/ppads/index.html does run but there are differences between this upgraded (from 2.61) version and the new install of a completely seperate copy at http://www.remarkablecars.com/for-sale/index.php.

The most serious problem is that after loading http://www.remarkablecars.com/ppads/adm-index.php, the option to "edit users" does not appear.

In case this is related, the screens for several of the edit settings options, including "Admin Options" and "Show Ad Options" are different on the upgraded version and the new-install version.

Since your last reply to me earlier today, I removed the troublesome Collate statement from sellerpost.php in the upgraded version and re-ran upgrade.php. This did not cure the problem of being unable to edit users, a function that did work in 2.61 but is now unavailable since the upgrade. This is a function that is important to me.

that runs fine there is no index.html in our code

You do not have edit users on the other one because it is integrated with your forum therefore THIS IS NOT A BUG

If I change this to where it is NOT intergrated with the forum will I lose my admin signon capability or any other known problems with changing from formun-intergrated to non-intergrated.

Yes you will lose all your users as they all come from the forum

You can reinstall and make a new admin login but what about all your ads they are gonna belong to users that do not exist
