keyword limitations

We want to add more keywords than we have space. It seems the field is limited to a number of characters. Does anyone know of a way to increase the field limit to allow additional keywords and how I would go about that?

UPDATE pp_photos CHANGE keywords keywords VARCHAR(255) default NULL;

That should give you another 100 characters as right now its limited to 150 characters now.

Would I make this change through the admin panel?

You should do it through your hosting control panel using phpmyadmin you use the sql box when viewing the proper database.
