Help! How do I rebuild the Photo database?

I'm getting this error:

We're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error. Please try again later.

Script: adm-misc

Query: SELECT COUNT(*), SUM(views) AS fsize FROM photos

Result: Table 'photos' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

Database handle: Resource id #6

How do I repair the photos table? Note - the resource ID has varied between #6 and #7 if that makes a difference.

I ran the "repair table" and the gallery is back up, but I've lost all the images from March 13th to today. Is there any way to get those back?

No you can not get it back unless you have a backup of this table prior to the crash that would have these photos.

Chuck, once I restore from the backup, how do I fix the problem that I first reported?

If your backup is not corrupt then you dont need to do anything. The issue here is you have corrupt rows in the photos table and repairing it removes the corrupt rows.
