html link for music/video

What needs to be done to get an html link such as the one for images to be able to get it to tag and play on other sites?

This doesn't work for MP3 files and I am assuming videos neither:

You can not play videos through tags you can only play them on a player. You could design the url to the video and when clicked they should open a player.

you mean a direct link - right, I could do that. I wanted to use the same sort of html code so you can use it on myspace and stuff.

How can I get the coding NOT to show if it is a video or music file?

I am not aware of us showing any links on video files. i assumed you where discussing modifying your files based on this discussion.

photopost still allows the html coding to show, image or not. I was wondering if we can get it adjust to allow for a embedded hotlinkable html code for this type as you do for images..

No you can not hotlink video's they must be straight links so they can be opened in players.
