Lightbulb What server to use?
I am thinking of bulding a new server.

What runs the safest and best...???

Windows, bsd linux, solaris ????
and what kind?

and all other info about server setup firewalls etc...

I would personally choose a linux server dual processor as fast and as much memory as you can afford honestly. That would be my top pick.
