Opted for 5.6.2 instead of 6.0

If so, where are the instructions for exactly what steps I need to take to upgrade it? I opted to install 5.6.2 when I bought it initially because 6.0 was still BETA.

You want photopost 6.0. Just upload the files with ftp and run upgrade.php

Upgrade instructions are contained in the upgrade.txt file in the documentations folder of the downloaded code. There is even a changelog.txt which has specific changes from version to version.

Yes replace/overwrite the files that are there. Then run http://www.yourdomain.com/photopostlocation/upgrade.php

Remove install.php and upgrade.php after the upgrade has been completed

Do I overwrite UPLOADS also ? It will not kill the video and pic files will it?

Its ok to to that as it doesnt delete anything in that folder.

OK, im overwriting the files now. I was confused because I had to move the unzipped files to a different folder on my comp and upload to server (overwrite)them from there. The FTP kept uploading the ZIP file as a whole...lol

You basically can upload everything except the config files and run the upgrade. There are specific files like install.php header.htm footer.htm that you may not want to upload and as pointed out you dont need to upload uploads or data folders but it wont hurt if you do. The only big thing to do is never overwrite your config files.

UH-OH.......I can't login now :eek: The logins got axed including mine. It shows files are there but you can't view anything.

I uploaded all files except for config-inc.php like the Upgrade text file stated

You had not ran your upgrade script. Delete it from your site you should be fine now

Removed Ugrade PHP and everything works now......gonna go play with the new Admin options now.
