Question chmod question

Installation working so far. I have a chmod question, as I was hacked in another php script before.

What is the recommended setting the for the photopost root folder ie 775, 777, 750 etc.?

For example > Public > SiteId > Domain > Photopost <<<<< chmod?

Don't like keeping it at 777, but also don't want to affect the functionality of the script as I am still learning php

Thank you.

The photopost directory should be 755

Only the directories and or files noted here should be set to 666 or 777]\

Hi Chuck.

I understand the information about chmod the main directory. The main directory should be 775 and all others either 666 or 777 in accordance the install instructions. Got it Chuck.
