Adding links as you upload photos?

is there a way to have the world/link icon so users can use that to enter linked text in their descriptions of uploaded photos? we don't really need all the text formating like we have here in this forum (font, size, bold, etc) but we really need a way to make it easy on members to add linked text.
we show them how to add url tags manually, but most are newbies and we get the question a gazillion times a day, or so.
any way to add an "add link" icon to their description/upload process?
we're using PhotoPost PHP vB3 Enhanced and getting ready to upgrade soon.

Links are automatically converted when you enter them so I am not following you.

If I enter a link on the gallery just like on the forum it is clickable

EXAMPLE BELOW

sorry, i mean custom text not the actual link text. our links are long (to the store) and they want the product name to be clickable. in the forums, they click on the globe/link icon. they're not so good with entering tags.
they want this phrase clickable that goes to a long link. make sense?
i know they can enter code, just hoping to make it possible they can hit the link icon just like in these forums?

The result is the same as I post. If I type a link like so the forum or photopost converts it to a clickable link

When making a comment in Photopost we use the vbulletin post interface

i know it converts links, we don't want links. we want links to something *else* and text that's clickable. this phrase clickable. this goes to http://www.scrapster.com/somelonglink but we don't want to see http://www.scrapster.com/somelonglink, we want to see this phrase clickable.
i'm not sure how to explain it better. we want the globe/link icon when we upload photos to photopost so that you can enter text (like a description) then link it to another page.
like attached.

You can not do this as I have stated sorry but I can only answer this in a support manner and the software does not do that.
