A way around spider urls

Is there another way to enable spider urls? This is for people that aren't able to do it the regular way because the webserver will not accept the paths.

I think this is really hurting the traffic to my site. Has anyone found another way to do this?

Sorry there is not another way that we know of. You have tried altering your apache setup to add AcceptPathInfo On?

i emailed my host and they added a .htacess file to my directory with AcceptPathInfo ON in it. After you do this, do you have to restart the server?

Yes you need to restart the server and then test things out
