user name change

is there a way that regular users can change their usernames?

On here no there is not but if you PM a mod or admin they should be able to do it

or post the name change here

No the user can't do it but you (admin) can.

Is it a standalone or integrated with a forum?

With forum integration ...
First change the username to new username at the users profile at forum adminCP

Then at PhotoPost Admin > Scan database >

- Check here to resync photo/comments usernames/update comments counts.

It's been a while since I've done this but I'm pretty sure this is how to do it.

... okay I just tested this out and it works though it didn't change the username below a recent thumbnail ... may be a cache thing.

Yes you can change a username on the forum side and use the tool noted and in a standalone admin can change the name in the edit users tool in admin and then use the scan database tool to update names on photos and comments.

Yep, I checked the Most Recent thumbnail after a little bit and it had changed to the new username.
