In your global options in admin correct your uploads and data paths using forward slashes. Looks to me you used backslashes on install which can not be used with mysql hense they are removed.
Once you correct your global options then go to storage options and hit revert and save twice to load the new paths.

I contacted Bravenet (who by the way is absolutly no help at all) and they won't turn off safe mode. Is therer anyway to make this work.
Question #2: If this won't work, could Photopost be put on another sever (without vbulletins being on that server) but linked to vbulletins on the Bravenet server so they will work together. Or will I need to move my entire website. Which will be costly. I'm having to decide if keeping Photopost is worth the effort if I can't make this work.
Thanks

If they will not turn off safe mode you need to move to a host that has safe mode off. You would need to move vbulletin as well.

I'm having upload issues as well. I recently moved from a windows IIS server to linux and got the paths and SQL server working to the point of being able to view everything but uploading seems a problem now. In the above posts there are talks about safe mode- I wonder if that could be affecting me as well.
Anyway here are my error messages- any help or a point in the right direction would be very appreciated!

Nope your data path is missing a trailing slash that it needs so update it in global options and then in storage options hit revert and save twice.
I am assuming your directory permissions are all set according

Thanks for the help Chuck. It ended up being a permissions thing, and to compound the problem a few image categories had been added in the admin panel but since the "data" permissions were wrong it hadn't made folders for those categories.
Removed and re-added them after permissions were fixed and I'm good to go now!
