Uploading photo to multiple albums

Is there a way to change our preferences so that when a user uploads a photo into multiple albums it doesn't show up in their main gallery multiple times?

Thats a search page and as such it returning a results based on what you input so in that regard no if you allow photos to be uploaded to multiple categories each photo is in respects its own photo and will be returned on search.
