Problems with uploads I am on a Mac and have zero issue with uploads but some of my useres are having problems. Here are the details User is on a Windows PC, they have a camera that they attach to their computer and drag the photos off as if it were a hard drive. The photo works on their photo view programs. When they try to upload the process starts and says successful but never displays a photo. I have had two users send me photos. I tried to upload and had the same problem. If I open the file in preview and resave as a jpg (which it already is) it will then upload. What is the solution? And if possible, what is the problem?? |
I would think the situation is easy explainable. Your file your trying to upload is over 2mb and thus being dropped by your server's PHP since you can only upload files up to 2mb. The minute you manipulate it within your graphics program and resave it you compress it so its real small then and will upload fine. |
OK, thanks! |
