Is there an easy way to change all folder and subfolder permissions?

I am assisting a friend in reviewing upload issues. I am curious to know if there is any command or function that allow me to set all folder permissions to 777?
Thanks.

why do you need all the folders set to 777? but if you highlight (left click and drag the pointer over them till they are all blue) the ones you want to change it will change them when you right click and change the chmodd.
