Categories Order

When I make a subcategory it always goes under the older one making it number 2, and I have to change it to 1 and the older one to 2
is there a way to have the new categories show up without having to have to change the order each time?

The new category will always default on creation to last in line in the subcat structure. You would need to order the cats under the parent correctly as you do now.
