smf 1.1 rc2 and pp (firefox vs. IE login)

would i be correct in saying that the login problems wont be fixed untill it goes gold?
if i use smf it has to be 1.1 because of one mod.
with a redirect i have it so they have to log in though the forum before they go to uploadphoto.php.
seems to work fine with firefox,but with IE you need to log in twice and maybe log out twice.once i was able to upload as unregistered.

SMF 1.1 has no issues we know of but yes it is beta so not officially supported. I know of several sites running 1.1 fine

I would suggest you check you cookie setup to make sure they explicitly match.

Why one browser would work and another not work I can not say
