Photoshop Triggered mysql failure

I just wanted to share that this is the third time that an error generated when a photo was viewed on photopost, and that triggered massive other mysql errors and eventually lead to forum goes down and a mysql server failure and a restart.

I know it might not be photopost fault, but it might be something related to it.

It looks something like this:
--------------------------------------
An error was encountered during execution of the query:

SELECT exifinfo FROM exif WHERE photoid=34701

The query returned with an errorcode of:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

---------------------------------------------

Anyone else had this?
We are going to upgrade to the latest version tomorrow.

Hello has nothing to do with Photopost or your Forum

The error is saying your mysql connection is down. That would be server related and your host might be able to help assist in finding out what the specific issue is

Chuck,

I should say the first error message started with Photopost, then getting worse to force the forum shut down. I will do an upgrade and hope the better performance can minimize this in the future.

Okay sure you can try that but I do not personally think it is going to solve that error. That error specifically states your mysql server is down.

The host might be able to run some tests and determine my the mysql server is shutting down.

From that error all it is saying is we are trying to run a query against mysql and its not available. Hense it has nothing to do with Photopost or Forum.
