Too many connections

This a.m. I encountered a comment on the screen while trying get into
the photopost page. It reads:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/trailrai/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 74
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost database. []

What do I need to correct the problem? Thanks in advance

Hello your host is limiting your mysql connections which means too many people are trying to access your site at one time past the threshold your host allows and they shut down your mysql
