copyrighting images

Just wondering if there is a way to have the uploaded images be automatically copyrighted with a showing of your site/forum logo/banner etc.

You can use the watermark feature to impose some text or image onto the image as it is uploaded. You can also use on-the-fly watermarks if you are using GD2 imaging. Would either of those work for you?

Yeh, so long as there is some form of image or text imprinted on the image that'll work for me. Will the imprint be shown when the image gets posted on say other forums?

How do i use the watermark/on-the-fly watermarks feature?

If you want to be sure that the image is always there, then use the standard watermarking feature - on-the-fly watermarking doesnt change the image itself and people can still link to the original if they are smart enough.

I use PNG-24 images with a transparency layer and upload the image to my server and then put that into the watermark image box. (There is an example watermark in the images directory: images/photopost.png).
