When people add an image... we would like to add unique number to be registered to the find. This will then be displayed for each image within the vewing area... or even better watermarked onto the the image.

If anyone has any ideas please get in contact.

Why not use an extra field for this thing. Make the field hidden and generate a random string based on the photo name and make the value of extra field this.

Not sure yet.
But what I can say is that I think we are building the "worlds largest" photopost database on a project we are working on now. It will record all finds from metal detectorists in UK and then over to Europe. It will be a huge project and will also be used by the archeological community.

http://www.ukdfd.co.uk still got a lot of custom work to do though.

No problem was just thinking this would be the easiest way since extra field coding is already there.
