New users getting admin rights

We just upgraded our message board from php to vb3 and integrated the gallery. Since the upgrade & integration a new member automatically gets admin rights to our gallery. Needless to say I am freaking out a bit.

Another problem is that several of the gallerys are linking to the wrong members. Is there a way to correct this or a table I can modify to link the gallerys to the right members?

Hello

You switched integrations and never updated your usergroups. Remember in phpbb admin is usergroup 2 but in vb3 its 6

registered users are usergroup 2 hense your dilema. You can use phpmyadmin and delete every group except admin and make the groupid 6 then refresh the groups in photopost admin to import vb usergroups

As far as userid's this is because you switched forums midstream and the phpbb userid is not the same as it is in VB hense your pictures belong to other users. Only way around this would be to write a script to scan the vb user table and update the userids to the proper users from there importuserid. Same needs to be done on the comments table and categories table for albums or every photo would be owned by someone else.
