Are photos stored in the mySql Database?

Hello, we are new photopost users and have recently switched hosting providers and it turns out that while we have 3gigs of drive space, we only have 200mb allocated to mySql databases.

I am not sure if photopost actually stores the images (or the thumbnails) in the mySql database, but if it did 200mb might not be adequate.

We only store the mysql entries there the files are on the server thus a 200mb photopost database is fine until your site outgrows it which would be sometime.

so I would have to outgrow it by having 200mb of mysql entries (references to the photos, not the actual jpegs) which would take far longer than 200mb of images right?

like basically a mysql entry holds the file name, discription, keywords, pointer to the file location, etc. everything but the actually binary data right?

Correct 200mb is quite a large database when not storing files

I have a db with 15,000 photos and 1,000 comments and it takes less than 500kb.
