Classified Email Addresses

How do you find out the email address of someone that has won an auction? There is no link to contact them in the profile.

Are you referring to the person who is selling the product wanting to send that user an email?

This is feedback from a tester. When an auction ends they have no way to contact the person that won the auction. They had to search the members list to find them. Actually, a link in the person's profile to email them (like the Contact Seller link) would be nice too.

Good suggestion; that would eb an easy enough addition. I thought the email that was sent included contact info?

Not sure as this was reported by a tester. But having the link in the profile would help eliminate any confusion for those that don't take the time to read emails. I know, people SHOULD read them but they don't. I get a number of emails each week from people asking why they can't post messages in my vB when they never "clicked the link" in the email to activate their account.

I'll check into it - its just adding a link to the page:

contact.php?contact=<userid>&productid=6

The script only has to be called with a userid and a productid. We can add in something that says if productid is not set, then just a "Trying to contact you" type of email. I should have something tomorrow for you.
