"Remember Me" fix?

Okay, let me start by saying I'm running PP 4.8.2 and vBulletin 3.0.3 integrated.

Now I had the infamous "I'm logged into the forums, but not the gallery" problem.
I've been searching the forums for the past.. hour or two and have finally figured out the problem is vBulletin requires the user to click "Remember Me" to create the cookie, which then PP goes off of..

Is there any fix for this yet? I searched for a good while and didn't have any luck. I would really rather not make it hidden, but still have my users logged into both systems.

A fix was posted in the forums by omrgatron (try search) and we're beta testing it in the B3 now.

Yep the old vb3 module never worked with sessions cookie but the one I wrote does. As Michael stated this will be in 4.8.5 but you can grab it for 4.8.2 from the thread linked here

Weird cause I downloaded that earlier today but it is still giving me and my users that problem. If it will be in the next release, then it won't be a big issue.. I'll just tell my members to wait.

Well that file is verified and working as I installed both vb3 and photopost on a test system and did it.

Here is a simple test to show it works.

Go to this vb install

http://omegatron.net/vb3/index.php?

sign in with test and testing. DO NOT CHECK THE REMEMBER ME BOX

Then go to

http://omegatron.net/gallery/index.php

You will see your logged in just fine using the session cookie

Yeah, that's really strange. I put it in the "photopost/forums" directory too.
