Can you avoid duplicate photos in the persponal gallery?

Hi - hoping this can be fixed....

When a user uploads a photo they can select more than one category. Sometimes, they want their picture in two or three categories.

The problem is, if a user 1) upload to more than one category or 2) copys an impage from their album into a category, we're seeing the same picture more than once in the personal gallery.

I am assuming that if we see the photo more than once, the duplicate photo is taking up disc space.

Any suggestions on the best way to manage?

No it is not taking up disk space. It is in 2 or 3 categories but only one image on disk

Now the proper coding is what you see since the members gallery shows all a user's photos and they are uploading the same thing to multiple cats so it is in essense another photo.

You can go to admin options and set NO this options

Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?

If I say "no" to member galllery showing users photos what happens? (I know this sounds silly!) Would it be empty? Or would people need to post there to keep a log of their photos?

well then the members gallery ONLY SHOWS PHOTOS of ones that exist in the members gallery
