Multiple Uploading

I have about 100 new pictures that I would like to upload to my photopost gallery. How would I be able to do a multiple upload. I looked at the docs, but it said comming soon. I'm running the latest version 4.8.2.

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,

There are a few options you can do.

One is to set in your Admin Panel - Edit Options to allow zip uploads. Then zip those pics into a zip file and upload the zip.

Another way is to FTP your pics to the pp/uploads/x (x being the user ID of your username which if you go to the uploads page and you are an administrator account you will see "Files should already be in " at the bottom...that is the location to FTP to) You would then want to check the "Skip upload and process the files in your upload directory" option and any other option you may want.

Note that in PP Pro you can also set how many upload boxes are displayed in the Admin Panel - Edit Options page (How many file upload prompts do you want?) which will allow you and your users to upload multiple pictures as well.

Hope this helps you
