Using integrated style sheets

I'm using PhotoPost with vBulletin 8

I decided to turn on the integrated stylesheets function. However, the PhotoPost display theme (http://www.cyburbia.org/gallery) now looks nothing like the default vBulletin (http://www.cyburbia.org/forums/) theme.

Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

Send a message via MSN to Razgo
your end results are the same as my problem here: http://www.photopost.com/members/for...d.php?t=109412
as mine will display a white page as well if i do the above.

Can you tell me how to use the "header-inc" file? I have no idea what it is.

EDIT: Okay, I think I got it; deleting comment slashed in header-inc.php.

It still looks a little off, though.
  • I had to remove $navbar, so the forum links (search, quick links, etc) don't confuse users.
  • The footer links don't work. They are targeted towards the PhotoPost directory instead of the vBulletin directory, so links in the footer don't work.
  • There's no alternating colors in the gallery/album tables; everything defaults to the background color of the page.
  • Table background gradients aren't displayed. The Gallery/PhotoPost tables are indented far more than the vBulletin tables.

Then I suggest you read the VB3 FAQ at the top of the forum. You need to correct all relative paths both images and links in the header footer and header include templates of VB as well as make the style misc images a full url from relative and also in your stylesheet any background image url tags in the css need to be full url not relative

Just to clarify, the vB3 FAQ is stuck to the top in the Installation and Upgrades area.

I'm trying to decipher this.

Okay ... I can change gradient image paths to absolute URLs. That works.

Paths in the VB footer are defined as variables: $modcpdir, $vboptions[privacyurl], and so on. Are you suggesting changing these to absolute URLs?

That doesn't do anything about the lack of alternating colors(or, really, any color other than the page background) in the gallery catgory/photos/comments tables/last comments/last upload table, or the (unwanted) added indentation of the PhotoPost tables. I didn't see anythign about this in the FAQ.

I'm probably going to go back to a highly customized normal template, and play around with it for a few days until things look right. I use tabs to navigate the site, and using the default vBulletin header, the "Forum" tag is activated instead of the "Gallery" tag. That's somethng no integration scripts can address.

Thanks anyhow.

ARGH! I tried to revert to my old template, by setting "Use Integrated forum stylesheets?" to "no." However, PP won't revert to default.css or the original templates. Updating "Select a theme for your website" has no effect whatsoever, even when it's changed to a theme other than default.css.

Just the hell of it, I changed the theme to "Orange." No change. Again, "Use Integrated forum stylesheets?" is set to NO. The admin pages are orange, the Gallery isn't. And no, this issue isn't addressed in the FAQ.

See http://www.cyburbia.org/gallery/index.php - does it look orange? Nope. I reloaded all the templates. Still, no change. I tried a database repair. Nothing.

Basically, I now DON'T want stylesheet integration, but it won't turn off. A selected template will be displayed in the admin menu, but NOT the gallery/index.php page. Help!

Got it. I had to re-comment out header-inc.php.

Including this for others who might have this problem in the future.

$modcpdir, $vboptions[privacyurl], and so on. Are you suggesting changing these to absolute URLs?

Basically they would be like this

http://www.cyburbia.org/forums/$modcpdir
