What Advantages?
 

Since the decision not to continue with GMS, I've made the switch to PP Pro and decided to go ahead an integrate it into my forums (Invision Board). I guess the question I have is this:

Other than sharing the same login, what advantages are there to integrating the gallery with the forums? They still appear to be seperate, other than the login.

Other than the login (the reason I purchased PhotoPost) you will have a single profile page for members instead of two separate ones plus much of the information will carry across from one to the other - avatars, signatures, photo counts, post counts, etc. Recent changes also allow you to import styles but I'm not sure on the status for IPB. If you have a forum on your site it's definitely the way to go IMO.
