remove large photos?

is it possible to remove the large photos from certain sections while keeping the medium and thumnail pics? space and bandwidth is starting to become a problem
(i u/l from a digicam so the large goes up to 800k)

Not really unless you disallow mediums and larges

Why not set your maximum upload to 150k or so.

A normal 800K digital 2048x1560 large image for me resizes down to 100K for me. You may need to play with what your maximum width and height settings. You no doubt have yours set quite high so the larges are not getting resized.

well...for example, I want to setup a section section for 2004 pics and 2002/2003 pics...
for the 2004(current) pics, I would like to have both the medium and large sized pics, but for the 2002/2003 pics I would like to only have the medium sized pics. Is this possible?
all of the pics (2002/2003/2004) are in originally from a digicam which is about 800k ea.

do you set that at the part that says "Maximum multimedia upload size in Kb" in the options?
I cant find a seperate setting for photos only.

In admin options are the image height width restrictions but the file size limiter is located in the admin usergroups editor permissions
