I have photopost, reviewpost and classifieds.

I exported and imported db's just fine and vbulletin - no problems

when I try to access photopost I get:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

the usernames and password for vb have not changed. Reviewpost and classifieds start fine

and no error email si sent to my email address and email is working on the server.

if there any way to change mysql or any other setting to display the error that's occurring. This is stunting my conversion progress.

Namely, when I try to view some photos, I get "we're sorry, but the system experienced an unrecoverable error." For example:

When I look closely at our database, one of the tables (pp_extrafields) appears to be damaged -- I cannot view its contents. My web host looked at it and says "The table only has one file (out of 3) created." All I can think to do is ask my host to recreate the table, but I would need to give them the query to use.

Do you think recreating the table would help, and if so, what would the query for pp_extrafields be?

The watermarks continued to work after the upgrade, but I just noticed that the watermarks are now being permanently added to the image, and not "on-the-fly".

I've tried adjusting the on-the-fly options but can find how to have the water only appear on the fly and not be imprinted on the image.

When I get to stage 3 I get this error :

I cannot connect to the PhotoPost MySQL server. [host:$host][mysql_user:$mysql_user][mysql_password:$mysql_password]. Check your config-inc.php for the correct settings and rerun.

Troubleshooting Steps :

1. Followed instructions for all permissions. They are correct according to your instructions.

2. Mysql username and password are correct. Copy pasted from the values in the config file and connected instantly into the mysql server.
Database also exists with the correct permissions

3. All services on the server are running without any problem. Vbulletin for example. I was even able to install other php apps.

4. Apache and mysqld logs do not show any errors at all !

The prefix setting adds characters to the front of phpBB2 table names - please doublecheck this.
I have checked the prefix -its set correctly (its default). But why is it telling my phpBB2 in this error? I have selected phpBB3 as the forum integration...

I was following instructions in another upgrade post which said

so I have done that in the pp db...is this what caused the error? It feels related...maybe?

Also, in the previous step I had some db errors...this could also be the problem I guess!
