I just upgraded from 7x and pushed vB from 4.1.x to 4.2.1. My gallery seems to be missing things as seen here: Turbo Mopar Forum's Gallery - Turbo Mopar Photo Gallery.

Vbulletin Menu Problem

After floundering a bit with the xml file, I finally got the xml plug-in up and running. (To complicate matters I was migrating servers _and_ changing the directory where the gallery is located, so tracking errors has been challenging.)

It seems like most of the plugin installation worked as expected. The "featured photos" box showed up in the forum.

However, the menu tab did NOT appear. When I view the Plugins, the PhotoPost Navbar Link plugin is there.

But it isn't creating a tab. (I've manually added one in VB for the moment.)

I don't know if it's related, but the gallery doesn't have any of the menu items that it should visible. (My photos, Admin, Upload etc)

Hi Chuck,

Just renewed an old licence and installed a new copy of the software here.

All looks fine until you click on a picture and the following two messages appear. Picture works - but the messages are listed above Photopost.

Hi,

I'm now trying to translate ReviewPost to Spanish.

First I've created a new language via "Add/Edit Languages".

And then I'm translating string by string via "Edit Language Strings". But I cannot use accented characters or, in general, characters not in the english alphabet. The application cuts the phrase just by the accented character. For example, if I translate the string:

"Add Buddy"

As, in spanish:

"A�adir Amigo"

The application just saves: "A", the rest form "�" to the end is lost.

Xenforo: You may not delete the install directory as per the main direction point num

Trying out a xenforo installation.

In your install directions, it says:

4. You may not delete the install directory as per the main direction point number 5. Please read the CHANGELOG.TXT FILE so you know what to expect from version upgrades.

After installation into xenforo, though, when accessing the gallery, it says:

For security reasons, please remove the install directory from your server before proceeding.

These are conflicting directions. Which is right?

I cannot connect to the Members database. []

Testing out photopost on a xenforo installation to see how it works. I get to the end stage of the installation, and this error appears:

Warning: mysqli_connect() [function.mysqli-connect]: (28000/1045): Access denied for user 'userhere' (using password: YES) in /home//public_html/gallery/pp-inc.php on line 262
I cannot connect to the Members database. []

I've checked, re-checked, and checked again the database name, user name, and password, and all is correct. Still no go.

Any ideas?

No option to 'generate xml file'

I am in the admincp of photopost classifieds and dont see anywhere it says to generate xml file like

": 2. Go to your admin panel ( http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds/adm-index.php ) and select the generate xml plugin link to generate your xenforo plugin which adds the navigation. "

Where do I 'generate xml plugin link' i dont see it anywhere?

vBulletin Enahnced features in ReviewPost error

Integrating ReviewPost 6.11 with vBulletin 4.2.1.

When I select the option "Do you want to enable the vBulletin Enahnced features in ReviewPost?".

Bug in ReviewPost 6.11 vBulletin 4.2.1 plugins integration

Hi,

I'm trying to install ReviewPost 6.11 and integrating it with a forum running vBulletin 4.2.1.

The file "source-vb42.xml" has a bug that makes the integration of the plugin fail.

I've solved it myselft and this is the error and the fix:

Line 834 of "source-vb42.xml" original says:

And must be:

Content visible to verified customers only.

To solve the problem just modify the previous line in your original install directory, and uninstall ReviewPost product under "Manage Products", generate the XML again via the admin panel of ReviewPost and reinstall.
