Easier to contact seller

I really do like PhotoPost Classifieds but wish I could set it up to not require an interested party having to register at my site. Only party required to register, is the seller.

It would be cool if a customer interested in a product could click
Contact Seller
and that would bring up a Comment form that requires the customers email address, Name and the standard comment form with Captcha.

Once click on Send or Submit, the comment would be either emailed to seller or put in private message or both.

I believe this would increase sales. A lot of people don't want to register to inquire about a product they see for sale.

well there is a huge issue with opening the contact form up to anyone it is called spam. Its even sad nowadays that bots are able to even register and spam a forum.

Couldn't an advanced Captcha system prevent the spamming?

My goal is to have something similar to craigs where people could still contact the seller without having to be a user of the site but I do understand the spam and bots.

It appears Captcha systems seem to work pretty well as well as asking simple questions (like what is 2+2=)

well yes you could try that.

Try redownloading the build and reupload contact.php and contact.tmpl

You can see it working here

test bidding - PhotoPost Classifieds

You must enable the captcha for it to work otherwise you get the standard must be registered message.
