Please add a general purpose business ad template

I would like to be able to use PP Classifieds to sell online business ads. There are currently no templates suitable for such an ad.

At a minimum, the template should have:
  • Placeholders for 4 or more photos.
  • A text entry box to enter a description of the business and services.
  • Entry fields for the business address and hours of operation on the different days of the week.
  • Checkboxes to select the methods of payment accepted.

This may be helpful to visualize the template features I'd like. I created an example of what a completed restaurant ad might look like. Below is a link to the pdf file... it turned out too large to upload here at 175KB

It all should be pretty self explanatory. I'm sure anyone that has a look at this pdf file would agree that this type of template can be used to advertise just about any type of business, service, or event.

It is sometime easier and more profitable to sell ads to businesses as opposed to individuals. PP-Classifieds, with the types of templates currently available, targets individuals as the end customers.... the people placing the ads. The template I suggest here, broadens the scope of end customers to include the business sector. This type of template will open up new doors for forum owners as far as generating advertising revenues. With this template PP-Classifieds will have a broader appeal, which would do nothing but HELP sales of this product.

I like the layout only problem with that template is there is tons of info to store by use of additional extra fields which makes a default entry and display into the product a nightmare. I can do a much simpler version people could alter that would work with our program defaults. I like the thumbnail picture layout to the right like that

Thanks for taking a look Chuck. Yeah..... I drew it up to show much of the info as entry fields. I'm sure you guys that are good at this sort of thing can do quite a bit of optimization.

I do like the idea of somehow automatically tying the address information to a map... whether it be Google, Mapquest, or Yahoo.... perhaps clicking a link brings up a map in a popup window.

I'd love the feature of check boxes during ad entry that would cause credit card logos, etc., to be displayed as the types of payment accepted, but of course this can be just a more simple text entry field..... same thing with the business hours that I show as a table.

Some sort of file attachment capability is a must in my opinion.... this can be restricted to .pdf files. This would be a way for advertisers to attach, restaurant menus, event calendars, curriculums, membership applications, price lists, etc...... all the things that a standard template just can't accomodate within itself.
