Currently it seems that if I sit on a advertisement and refresh the screen the views count increments acordingly. I think this should only increment a single time for each unique visit.

When you refresh the page it is a unique visit.

Ok, on a technical aspect I'll agree, but still it does not give a realistic number as it can be inflated. Should be 1 count per individual user.

If someone wants to sit there and refresh the page sure but technically no other way to do it since views are tracked for every visit to the page.
