Memberships W/ Limit Option

I would like to know the "feasability" if you will, of adding an option for the next classifieds update/release that would limit the number of daily ad posts per category, per member.

In other words, say I have a member who has a monthly subscription, ads would then be free for the paying/subscribing members. I do not want the member to have the ability to post an unlimited amount of ads to any given category. I would like an option, that if enabled, would allow me to set a number for the amount of ads that any given member can upload to any ONE category.

Say, there's a limit of 3 ads per day, per category.

If he's already uploaded 3 ads to category A, on his fourth attempt it would prompt him with an error message of (exceeding daily limit for category A, please retry tomorrow). But the member would still have the ability to post in the remaining categories, assuming he has not posted his limit in those either.

This would completely ward off any "position jockeying" that may occur if ads were free for members in a particular category.

Just a suggestion.

I would suggest that if a person was paying for the ads, who cares if he uploads 100 ads per day.

The problem is when the ads are free.

I think a paid or paid subscription member should be allowed to have X (in my case, one) free ad(s) running at any one time. If they want more than that, they can pay for them.

If when you went to your "Photopost Classifieds UserGroup Editor" the column on the right, "Max Ads Limit?" refered to the maximum number of free ads that that usergroup was allowed to have running at any given time, that would be perfect!

I can not believe that photopost classifieds owner wish to limit the number of ads that a paying customer wishes to place!

Your suggestions would be okay, if i were charging per ad. But my site will be aimed at paid memberships, monthly, 90day, 180day, and yearly. Paying member would not be charged for any ads at that point, but I would like to limit the number of ads they can post to 3 or 5 ads per category, per day, so that they are not just sitting there jockeying for position all day.
