Footer within Main Table

When footer.htm is attached to the very bottom of the pages and a left sidebar table is used, the footer gets pushed WAY down to the bottom of the page. This happens when the sidebar table is a bit long and something is listed on the center table that is a bit short, as with an individual category listing.

For future versions, please consider placing our custom footer.htm at the bottom of the center table and closing out the overall page (/td /tr /table copyright /body /html) in a separate footer template or php script all by itself.

well every product I know of codes the html this way as it is the only way for things to be valid html. You need to be able to nest tables correctly which means a page opens sidebar content is printed and then the footer closes any tables opened in the header. You therefore can not nest a footer within the sidebar as it would result in improper table nesting and not be xhtml or xml compliant. Sorry
