User's status or usergroup displayed

The user's status or usergroup should be displayed next to their user name in the "For Sale by" section of each ad just like in vBulletin. Along with their Registered date, Location and other facts, this would assist a potential buyer to gain confidence in the seller and allow the readers to know who's who.

I've looked all over for a clicker to set this feature. I'm using a stand-alone user database rather then linking to vBulletin. Perhaps this is why I don't have their status or usergroup? Otherwise, please guide me to the proper configuration section.

vbulletin does not show a users group it shows user title

we pull the same basic profile information

OK, vBulletin uses a "user title" which is specified in the "user group" that the user is assigned to.

Anyway, I'm using a stand-alone PhotoPost Classifieds user database. Does the PP Classifieds user have a title that will show in his ads from this stand-alone user base?

Clarifying this by using proper PhotoPost variable names:

The user's groupname should be displayed next to their user name in the showproduct "For Sale by" section of each ad. Along with their Registered date, Location and other facts, this would assist a potential buyer to gain confidence in the seller and allow the readers to know who's who.

Granted that this will take extra queries from PP_users and PP_usergroups to use $usergroupid in showproduct.php however, it is still valuable information to the buyer.

Keep in mind that I am running PP Classifieds in stand-alone mode with its own user database, NOT associated with vBulletin. The more I test PP Classifieds, I find that I am quite comfortable keeping its users separated from my vBulletin boards, which are on another domain name.

Please take this only as a suggestion (as this forum header implies) that the Classifieds should display the ad writer's usergroup along with their name.

Edit: Now set on vB3 integration and it works!
