Seller feedback

My users complain about the buyers giving feedback in the comment field instead of opening the sellers profile and give feedback there. I have had to manually copy the comments into the database to fix this.

The feedback option is not visible when browsing the ads, just a link in the user name.

I would suggest that a more visible and direct link to feedback is shown when a buyer is browsing the ads.

Example: See my feedbacks

Place along with "See all ads from this seller".

Well the feedback link is given to all users whom have purchased from a user in an auction which is the whole point of the feedback.

The user who was the high bidder recieves the link to give feedback. We can certainly add a link but that would give users the ability to add bad info when they never bought from the user. Only user's whom won a product at auction get this link. Now I can place a link in the buy it now email that goes out for regular classifieds

You have a point there. I will just give the sellers a note that if they sell to one customer in a non auction, they can send them an email with a link to their profile and ask them to post a feedback.

Now for users whom have purchased an ad from a user using the buy it now link I will add in the feedback link

it seems that the system doesn't check whether the person providing the feedback is actually the seller/buyer in a transaction. Can this be improved?

How would the system know?

See the point here we don't track who bought what. A user can post an ad and sell it to John Doe and move on.

It can always be improved but at least you see the hurdle we need to make here.
